Julia Dianne Neblett

Julia Dianne Neblett, age 79, of Paducah, Kentucky, went home to be with Jesus on Sunday, March 1, 2026, while surrounded by her children, in her home on Madison Street.

Dianne Neblett was born in West Paducah on January 4, 1947, to the late J.P. Crenshaw Sr. and Mary Ellen (Jane) Neal. She would come into the world as number six in the Crenshaw brood of 10. Dianne began building a life with her late husband, Grady Neblett, in March of 1964. The couple would go on to spend fifty-seven years together before Grady's passing. Their marriage would move them to California and then Gary, Indiana, before bringing them back to settle in their hometown amongst family. While being a homemaker was her life's work, throughout the years, she was employed by Lourdes Home Health and Community Christian Academy. In the 1990s, she worked alongside her husband to build a successful business, Neblett's Auction, on Broadway. She spent the majority of her years taking care of her three children and then later had a hand in raising 6 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Dianne's faith was the cornerstone of her life. She was raised in the Pentecostal faith and currently attended Park Avenue Baptist Church. She was a long-time member of the Gospel Music Association. Praising the Lord through song was one of her greatest joys, second only to watching her grandkids lift their voices in praise.

Julia Dianne Crenshaw Neblett is survived by her three children, Belinda Lawrence (Robert) of Hunter, ND, Brian Neblett (Robin) of Ledbetter, KY, and Jennifer Neblett (Richard Neville) of Reidland, KY; six grandchildren, Stephanie Rathgeber (Shaun) of Paducah, KY, Blake Lawrence (Jess) of Fargo, ND, Katie Neblett of Ledbetter, Lacey Hayden of La Center, Paige Hayden of Paducah, and Ashton Gipson of Reidland; 12 great-grandchildren, Emmett Rathgeber, Jaycee Hayden, Jillian Rathgeber, Norah Rathgeber, Kynzlee Brown, Mia Leonard, Kingston Leonard, Ezra Rathgeber, Aria Everett, Imryn Tyson, Remi Lawrence, and Kaizen Everett.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Barbara Nell Crenshaw, Sharon Crenshaw, and Shirley Kortz; and one brother, Michael Crenshaw. She was directly followed in death by her brother, J.P. Crenshaw, Jr, who passed on March 2, 2026.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, March 6, 2026, at Hughes Funeral Home in Paducah. Burial will follow at Briensburg Cemetery in Marshall County.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Thursday, March 5, 2026, at the funeral home.
