Mahlon E. Martin (JD), 80, of Seven Valleys, left his earthly home and entered his heavenly home on Wednesday, November 12, 2025 at his home.
Mahlon was born in Heidelberg Township to the late Elwood M. and Irene A. (Smyser) Martin on December 11, 1944.
He was born on a farm and farmed until his retirement. He was also employed by P.H. Glatfelter in Spring Grove. After his retirement, he was a part-time scale master in the wood yard.
He also loved restoring antique tractors and farm equipment. Mahlon attended several tractor shows a year. He enjoyed driving his antique tractors in the parades. Mahlon especially enjoyed when his family attended the tractor shows with him.
Mahlon attended Red Lion Bible Church. He was a member of the Spring Grove Class of 1962, past member of Glatfelter Quarter Century Club P.F.B., Menges Mills Tractor and Steam Show, and Spring Grove Alumni Chorus.
He leaves his wife of 59 years Beverly (Thoman) Martin and his two sons Philip (Melanie) Martin and Bradley (Jennifer) Martin, his six grandchildren (Randi, Jesse, Jason, Kristin, Jacob, and Rachel Martin), and one sister Faye Ream. He was preceded in death by a brother Mearl Martin and two sisters Charlotte Kopp and Loretta Warner.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, November 21, 2025 at Geiple-Predicce funeral home, 53 Main St. in Glen Rock, PA 17327 with Pastor Steve Schmuck officiating. The family will receive visitors from 10:00 AM until the service begins at 11:00 AM. A luncheon will follow the service. Internment will be private at the convenience of the family.
