Mai Thi Pham passed away peacefully at Luther Manor on Monday, December 15, 2025 at the age of 88. She was born in Soc Trang, Vietnam and immigrated to the United States in 1975 with her husband and eight children. She was a loving and caring mom with her greatest joy spending time with her children, twenty grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren. She loved when family got together to cook and feast on her favorite Vietnamese cuisines. Known for her infectious kindness and warm smile, Mai's life was a beautiful tapestry of resilience and joy compatible with her amazing feisty humor assuring much laughter.
She is survived by her children Kimberly Pham, Nga (Dong) Pham, Brandon (Hong) Pham, Thinh Pham, James Pham, Lee Pham, Mike (Tammy) Pham, Thao (Lisa) Pham. She is further survived by her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mai is preceded in death by her husband Hieu Pham and granddaughter Christine Pham-Banh.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 29, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 South Grand Avenue, until the 12:00 p.m. Funeral Service. Following the service Mai will be laid to rest by her husband at Prairie Home Cemetery.
