Major Glenn A. Yates (Ret.)

Major Glenn A. Yates, a decorated Vietnam War veteran and retired U.S. Army officer, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 7, 2025, at the age of 95.
Born on February 27, 1930, Glenn served his country with honor and distinction, earning recognition for his leadership and valor during combat. After retiring as a Major, he remained a steadfast advocate for veterans and a pillar of his community.
Glenn will be remembered for his quiet strength, integrity, and deep compassion. He is survived by his son and daughter, many grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, all of whom will miss him dearly and carry forward his legacy.
Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 18, 2025, at Daniels Family Funeral and Cremation 7601 Wyoming Blvd NE. Viewing will begin at 10:00 a.m. Glenn will be laid to rest with military honors at Gate of Heaven cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to a veterans’ organization of your choice.
