On Wednesday March 4, 2026 Makeisha passed away with her husband, daughter's and Ms Pat beside her. Makeisha was a very loving wife, daughter, grandmother, sister, auntie and friend.

Makeisha was born February 27, 1974 in Lafayette to Lee Bruno and Sandra Celestine. She married Peter Davidson of Detroit, Michigan on February 27, 2000.

Makeisha spent 20 years as a cook at T-Coons and Ton's leaving behind many workmates and friends. Makeisha enjoyed spending time with family and friends eating crawfish or riding while listening to Tucka.

Makeisha leaves to mourn her husband Peter of 26 years. Three daughter's Shanice Celestine, Kya Jack and Thomasine Jack. Two Step children Isiah Davidson and Marjorie Davidson. Ten grandchildren (Shanice) Aaliyah, Amari, Anastasia and Ezekiel. (Kya) Kenya, Frederick and Peter. (Thomasine) Ava, Amia and Gianna. One sister Lakeisha Thibodeaux. One nephew Corey. Two nieces Corianna and Farianna and a host of relatives and friends.

Makeisha is preceded in death by her parents Lee Bruno and Sandra Celestine, her sister Sandra Faye Celestine and both paternal and maternal grandparents. The family would like to thank Ms Pat Johnson, Sue Bruno and Helen Norbert for their special friendships with Makeisha.
