Makoto Hisamoto, 91, of Sacramento, California, passed away on Monday, April 26, 2021. Born February 5th, 1930 in Florin Township, Sacramento County, Makoto is preceded in death by his parents Hatsuji & Sumi Hisamoto, sisters Kimiye Sakai & Sachiye (June) Roberson, and brothers Kazuo (Fred), Masashi (Sam), Naonori (Nelson), Masami (Moosey) & Kiyoshi (Lefty) Hisamoto.
A Japanese American survivor of the WWII internment camps and Korean War veteran, he is survived by his wife Kazue, stepsons Mark and David Adams, stepdaughters Mary Adams & Hazel (Marco) Baeza, sister Fumiye (Fumi) McGee, brothers Hiroshi (Charlene), George and Tom (Joan) Hisamoto, and grandchildren Anthony, Kimberly, Nicholas, Gregory and Nathaniel.
Private funeral services will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made on his behalf to the ACC Care Center, 7801 Rush River Drive, Sacramento, CA 95831 and to the American Kidney Fund, 11921 Rockville Pike, Suite 300, Rockville, MD 20852.

I met Mako, by way of one of my oldest friends Mary Adams. Mako and his lovely wife always so warm and so gracious to me, when visiting their home. I always knew I was welcomed. I have very warm memories. I look forward to seeing him on the other side of glory with Jesus
