After growing up in Yahualica, Malaquias moved to Canoga Park, California, where he worked as a self-employed gardener. He took immense pride in his work, finding joy in cultivating beautiful landscapes and caring for nature. Gardening was not just his profession but also his passion - he especially loved growing flowers and creating floral arrangements, which he lovingly gifted to his wife.
Malaquias was known for his kind heart, resourcefulness, and willingness to help others. Whether fixing things around the house or lending a hand to a friend in need, he embodied generosity and quiet strength.
