In Memory of Malcolm Russell Clewley (83)
Aug 19, 1941 to June 6, 2024
Malcolm (Mac) was born in Bangor Maine to Russell and Adelle Clewley. He graduated High School in Dover-Foxcroft Maine in 1959. He joined the USAF at the age of 17 where he served his country for 35 years and 8 months between Active Duty and Civil Service.
Mac loved camping, off-roading and fishing. He especially enjoyed hunting with family and friends. He was given the name "Chief Contrare" amongst his hunting mates because, if they were going one way, he would go the other.
Mac was a very kind, smart and giving individual. He volunteered his time for church, strangers in need and friends. He was always willing to help and most of the time would jump right in and take over the project at hand.
Malcolm is survived by his beloved wife Loretta of 44 years, his two sons Colt and Chad, daughters-in-law Shanna and Lauren, 5 grand children Kayla, Ian, Madison, Porter and Skyler, along with one great grand child Kovari.
Mac preceded his sister Janet and will be survived by his younger sister Karen.
Mac meant so much to his direct and extended family. His Celebration of Life services will be held on July 6, 2024 at the pavillion in Folsom Park in Durango, Colorado from 10 am - 1 pm. Mac will be remembered as a great husband, father, uncle and friend.
