Malcolm Nolan "Mike" Fife, 97, of 148 N Combs Lane Fountain Run, KY passed away Tuesday, October 21st, at Residence.
Malcolm was born in Louisville, KY on December 30, 1927, a son of the late Georgia (Clark) Garnett and Victor Malon Fife.
Mike was united in marriage to Margie "Mane" Wilson (Simmons) on August 16, 1952. They shared a wonderful 71 years together in marriage before her passing on August 23, 2023. Mike would say everyday that he was so thankful and lucky to have married a girl from Fountain Run, KY. Mike worked in maintenance at Farm Credit Bank, Celanese Coating and Devoe Paint. He served in the U.S. Army.
Mike is survived by his children, Victor Fife, of Fountain Run, KY, Scott Fife and wife, Ann, of Fountain Run, KY, Tracy Guffey and husband, Ralph of Scottsville, KY, and Todd Fife and wife, Jane, of Bowling Green, KY; son-in-law, Charlie Mansfield of Mossy Grove, TN; four grandchildren, Zed Mansfield, and wife, Rachel, Avalon Gourlay, Adam Fife and Malcolm Mathison Fife; great granddaughter, Charlie May Gourlay.
Other than his wife and parents, she is preceded in death by a daughter, Phyllis Mansfield; three sisters, Victoria Fife, Iona Fife and Wanda Grater, and four brothers, Morris, Milton, William and Franklin.
Funeral services will be held at 175 Main Street, Fountain Run, KY at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 23rd, with burial to follow at Capitol Hill Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, visitation will begin that morning after 11:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to Capitol Hill Missionary Baptist Church.
