Bradley B. Emmert, 59, of Tompkinsville, KY, passed away Thursday, October 2nd, surrounded by his family at Shanti Niketan Hospice House in Glasgow, KY.

Bradley was born in Tompkinsville, KY on April 9, 1966, a son of Darlene (White) Emmert and the late George Robert Emmert.

Brad devoted 38 years of his life to healthcare, serving as a Registered Nurse at MCMC, where he was the ER Director for 31 of those years. Known for his compassionate care and calm presence in times of crisis, Brad made a lasting impact on both his colleagues and patients.

He loved his family unconditionally and enjoyed spoiling his nieces and nephews. Brad had a heart for helping others in need. He enjoyed traveling, was a great cook, and an avid University of Kentucky fan. With a sharp wit and infectious sense of humor, Brad brought laughter and light wherever he went.

Bradley is survived by his mother, Darlene Emmert, of Tompkinsville, KY;
four sisters, Cathy Comer, and husband, Jerry of Gamaliel, KY; Georgetta Pedigo,and husband, Joel of Tompkinsville, KY; Laura Jane Bowe, and husband, Michael of Tompkinsville, KY; Penny Hurt, and husband, Mark, of Tompkinsville, KY; two brothers, Joey Emmert, and wife, Teresa of Tompkinsville, KY; Brett Miles and wife, Leslie, of Almo, KY; special nephew, Miles Gearlds, and wife, Kelley, and several other nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father, George Robert Emmert, siblings, Steve Emmert and Carlene Miles; grandparents, Raymond T & Grace (Rush) Emmert and Loy and Annie White preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be held Monday, October 6, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Yokley Trible Funeral Home, burial to follow at Monroe County Memorial Lawn.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 5, 5:00-8:00 p.m., and Monday, 8:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Yokley Trible Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Brad's memory may be made to Shanti Niketan Hospice House.
