Malcolm Stone Obituary

Malcolm R. Stone (Malsy or Ace) passed on December 16, 2025 in after a short illness. Malcolm was born on January 9, 1934 in Boston, MA, to the late Edward and Edith Stone.

Malcolm is survived by his wife Diane Lucas and four children; Daniel and wife Sue Stone, Barbara Ann and husband Robert Schaeffer, Diane Stone and husband David and Christopher Stone, four grandchildren; Alexis (Tyler) Daley, Austin (Kaylie) Pereira, Jaime Stone and Julius Stone. He is predeceased by his first wife Judy Koch, his second wife Barbara Stone, daughter, Elizabeth O'Mara, and son, Michael Stone.

Mal's interests included motorcycle racing, candlepin bowling and reading. He was a hard-working, helpful, humorous, kindhearted man. He served as a Selectman in the town of Chester, NH.

He was a machinist and founded Custom Machine in Woburn, MA with his partner Cosmo Pasciuto, and in 1980 Stone Machine with his partner Frank Camillieri in Chester, NH. He retired at 84.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, January 8, 2026 from 2 - 4pm with sharing at 4:00pm at the Peabody Funeral Home, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry, NH. Donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and the ASPCA.
