Roseann, today we were talking about our time in Connecticut, a bit of nostalgia, and we looked up Neilsen Wood Art to see how it was doing. To our sorrow we learned that our friend, and your husband had passed. We are so sorry for not hearing about this before. He was a wonderful person and our friend, a sailing teacher and a part of our summers traveling to our vacations. We spent good times with you and your family going to Block Island and beyond. I still look back on all the years Malcolm and I worked together at Nash, he was always someone to rely on, when I needed advise and help; a good friend.

My dad, Aage always loved Malcolm, and we loved when he came to Florida to visit with us and my dad.

We now live in South Africa; we have a guest house in a small town called Plettenberg Bay. Our guest house is called Aquavit Guest House; our Danish heritage is still here. My father came with us and was here as we built our new home, he passed at the age of 91. We miss him dearly.

We are so sorry for you and your family loss.

Should you ever have the urge to travel to a far destination, and come to this wonderful country, please let us know, and we will welcome you to came to see us.

Lots of love

My brother Malcolm always lived life "his way" with integrity and love. He had the power of positive thinking, always able to solve or fix or lend a hand. He was always drawn to water, it was even said, he might have had gills instead of lungs. He was always drawn to water being raised in Westport, he took a steamship voyage to Britian as a young teen, joined the US Navy during the Vietnam war, his hobbies were sailing and rowing and he has a house on Martha's Vineyard. Malcolm will be greatly missed, but as his Granddaughter Rosie told her Mother Amanda, "Don't worry we will always be able to talk to him through God".

Malcom was always a joy to see when he stopped by Pequot Yacht Club. When the Brilliant sailed in to the harbor he would be there to admire the craftsmanship and its beauty. He will be forever missed.
