Garland H. (Gary) Watson Jr, AKA PQ, of Knoxville, TN formerly of Rockwood, TN passed away on Tuesday, September 16, 2025 at his home with family by his side. He was born on April 4, 1954, in Rockwood, TN to Garland H. Watson Sr. and Arlene Sorrick Watson.
He worked for years with Holcomb's Tree Service. Later he was employed by PSC Metals for several years. He enjoyed cooking with his friends in barbecue competitions as long as he was able.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, R H (Harry) Watson & Clema Newcome Watson and Paul William Sorrick Sr. & Emma Rogers Sorrick, his father Garland H. Watson Sr., his brothers Ricky (Rick) G. Watson, Stephen (Steve) B. Watson, and Step-Father Delmer Hoskins.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years Darline Relford Watson of Knoxville, TN
Mother: Arlene S. Hoskins of Chattanooga, TN
Sons: Garland H. (GW) Watson III (Barbie) of Sevier County, TN
James R. Watson of Knoxville, TN
Very special granddaughter: Tessa Phillips (Trent) and their daughter Eliyanah (Elly) of Knoxville, TN
Special Nephew: Patrick Relford & family of Knoxville, TN
Grandson: Justin Watson of Knoxville, TN
Several other grandchildren

Jo Ann Watson Ferrell (Scotty) of Rockwood, TN
Step-Brother: William (Bill) Hoskins (Lynn) of Moline, FL
