Mrs. Norma Elizabeth Eigsti
Age 88, of Knoxville, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at the Wharton Nursing Home in Pleasant Hill, Tennessee.
Norma was born on August 25, 1937, in Springfield, Missouri. She graduated from Englewood High School in Colorado, Class of 1955, and went on to work as a legal secretary for several years. On May 1, 1959, she married the love of her life, Charles Eigsti, with whom she shared 67 devoted years of marriage.
A woman of deep Christian faith, Norma loved the Lord, cherished her grandchildren, and enjoyed traveling.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Roma and Nita Kimble; siblings, Naomi Guy, Burl Kimble, Leo Kimble, and Vel Bernard; niece, Paula Jill Guy; great-nephew, Daniel James (DJ) Somma; and great-niece, Noelle Lomax.
She is survived by her loving husband, Charles Eigsti; daughter and son-in-law, Dana and Harry McKinney; and grandchildren, Isaiah Burkman and Morgan Burkman. She is also survived by nieces Rebecca Somma and Cherri Sabo; nephew Tim Guy; great-nieces and nephews Charity Somma, Bligh Somma, and Luke Thigpen; great-great-nephew Daniel Lomax; and many other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.
Family and friends are invited to gather for graveside services and interment on Monday, September 29, 2025, at 6:30 p.m. in the McKinney Family Cemetery, 2041 Harriman Highway, Harriman, Tennessee, with Tara Hayes officiating.
