Malik Carter Obituary
"Heavy is the head, that wears the crown"; born with Brachial Plexus Palsy, this condition affected movement to his right hand/arm. Malik did not allow this disability to stop him from doing what he loved and taking care of others. Malik had aspirations to play football, and was determined to show those who thought his disability would prevent this, differently.
Malik enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews, and you can always find him in the midst of a "roast session" as he was a natural comedian and enjoyed making others laugh. In all that knew Malik, referenced him as "sweet", "well-mannered", "loveable" and "determined"; these were just a few adjectives to describe this beautiful boy.
Malik was preceded in death by paternal grandmother, Ann Carter; and niece, Zaniyah Hudgins.
Malik leaves to cherish his memories his parents, Belika and Chris Carter; 7 siblings; Christopher, Tationa and Destiny Hudgins, Allen, Aaliyah, Kristen and Kristyanne Carter; 2 nieces; Zej and Tationa; 4 nephews; Keshawn Jr., Jayden, Makhi and Jahmere. Malik; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and close family friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, April 7, 2022, 1:00PM, at Professional Funeral Services, 1449 N. Claiborne Ave, NOLA. Visitation will be held from 12:00PM until the hour of service. Interment Private.
Malik will be missed by all.
