Tillie was born Sept 9, 1927, in Sacramento, CA and passed away at home on February 15th, 2025, at the age of 97. She was the daughter of the late George and Mary (Perina) Schiro. She was married on December 3rd, 1955, to Clifford Haskell. Tillie was a loving mother, grandmother, & great grandmother of: son, Dr. Bradley Haskell (deceased) and Susie; daughter, Deanne (Isaac) Castaneda. Grandchildren: Rebecca (Sam) Colgate, Brandon (Jessica) Haskell; Alec Castaneda; Kyle (Ani) Castaneda; David, Natalia, & Samuel Haskell. Great-Grandchildren: Alyssa, Jordan, Chloe, and Elaine. Brother, Danny Schiro (deceased), and close family friend, Gerry Adam, who was like a son to her. Tillie cherished time with family, friends, and the simple joys of life. Her warmth and laughter will be deeply missed. A special thanks to everyone at Bruceville Point for showing Tillie so much love and care during the last two years, your kindness made it feel like home to her. A Celebration of Life will take place on Monday, February 24 at 1 p.m. at Valley High Country Club in Elk Grove, CA. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Firefighters Burn Institute, 3101 Stockton Blvd, Sac. 95820.
