He was naturalized as a US citizen in August of 1958. As Chief Master Sergeant, Fred retired from the Air Force after 24 years and worked for the University of Washington for the next 24 years. Predeceased by his oldest son and namesake “Freddie,” our pathfinder. Fred is survived by his loving wife of 63 years Beverly (Keegan), daughter Debbie (Trepanier), son Frank, daughter Lisa (Jachetta), grandchildren Paul, Anneliese, Christina (Miller), Julianna (Zorica) and Thaddeus (Trepanier), great grandchildren Brooklynne (Howell) and Hazel (Zorica). A celebration of life will be held next summer.
