Manuel Santos Bacani

Manuel Santos Bacani, 93, of Clifton, passed away on January 17, 2026. Born in Manila, Philippines, he traveled to the US in 1990 and settled in Clifton and Brick. Manuel worked for J.A. Cissel, Lakewood, for 8 years before retiring. Manuel loved to spend his time with his family, going to the mall, teaching his grandchildren Tagalog, and sharing his love of baseball, movies, and food with them.

Beloved husband of the late Filipina Rojas Bacani, who passed away in 2011. Devoted father of Anna Yamashita and her husband Kenji, Benilda Bacani and her husband Larry Grady, Arnel Bacani and his wife Rhoda, and Ruel Bacani and his wife Maripaz. Loving grandfather of Doni Ichael, Harvin, Kenji Jr., Lance, Danielle, Nikki, Mychelle, Ira, Ashley, Iris, and Ivan. Cherished great-grandfather of Angelo, Adrian, Aiden, Iyanna, and Caleb. Dear brother of Jorge, and Danny and the late Feli. He will be greatly missed by his friends and family.
