Manuel "Manny" Corona, born on August 27, 1939, in El Paso, Texas, passed away on July 1, 2025, in Novi, Michigan, at the age of 85. A beloved father, grandfather, and partner, Manny left an indelible mark on all who knew him through his unwavering devotion to his family and his faith.

Manny was a proud Marine Corps veteran, having served his country with dedication for four years. His love for life was evident in his passions, which included being an avid sports fan, cheering enthusiastically for his favorite teams-the Dallas Cowboys and the Detroit Tigers. He also had a deep appreciation for Mexican cuisine, savoring its flavors throughout his life.

A devout Catholic, Manny was a cherished member of St. Thomas a' Becket Catholic Church in Canton, Michigan. It was there that he met the love of his later years, Mary Cuschieri, with whom he shared 18 wonderful years filled with companionship and love.

Manny's greatest joy came from his family, especially his grandchildren, whom he adored above all else. His warmth and guidance will be dearly missed by his children, Jaime (Robin) Corona and Bob (Michelle Gentry) Corona, and his precious grandchildren, Ben, Alyson, Victoria, and Jack.

He is preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Patricia Corona; his siblings, Jaime and Tina Corona; and his parents, Salvador and Juana Corona.

Manny's legacy of love, strength, and unwavering support will continue to inspire all those who were fortunate enough to have known him. His memory will forever be cherished by his surviving loved ones and friends.
