Manuel Garcia-Hernandez, 73, of Van Buren, passed away on Monday, July 25, 2022. He was born on June 24, 1949 in Leon, Guanajuato, Mexico. He was formerly a cook at Logan's Roadhouse and was of the Catholic faith. He is preceded in death by his wife, Jackie Garcia; father, Manuel Garcia Robledo and three brothers, Jose, Domingo, and Jesus Garcia-Hernandez.
There will be a private memorial graveside service at Oak Cemetery at a later date, cremation arrangements are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home of Fort Smith.
He is survived by his mother, Epifania Hernandez-Aquilera of Mexico; three sisters, Maria de la Luz, Angelina Garcia-Hernandez and Maria Guadalupe Garcia-Hernandez, all of Mexico; two brothers, Juan Garcia-Hernandez of Greenwood and Jorge Alberto Garcia-Hernandez of Mexico.
