Manuel Moore Obituary
A son of the late Frank Wilmont Moore and Alice Stamey Moore, he was born September 9, 1955, in Habersham County, Georgia where he had lived all his life. Over the years, he had worked at numerous jobs but had been disabled for many years. He was of the Baptist faith. He loved fishing, swimming and camping and loved being a jokester with his family and friends. He was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother and enjoyed spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Dana Tessa Moore, two brothers, Larry Wilmont Moore and Douglas Dwayne Moore and by two sisters, Phyllis Ann Gills and June Delores Moore.
He is survived by two daughters, Tonya McDonald of Alto, Georgia and Amanda Dilbeck of Homer, Georgia; son, Jamie Moore of Clarkesville, Georgia; step-sons, Andrew Epps of Toccoa, Georgia and Thomas Abernathy of Atlanta, Georgia; a number grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Gary Allen Moore of Alto, Georgia; sisters, Deborah Gosnell and Shelia (Terry) Weaver both of Alto, Georgia and Janice Ward of Atlanta, Georgia; a number of nieces and nephews.
No visitation is planned. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Acree-Davis Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of the arrangements for Mr. Manuel William Moore.
