Manuel L. Moralez, 78 years old, of Odessa, Texas, passed away at home on February 27, 2024.
Visitation will be from 6 PM to 8 PM, Thursday, February 29, 2024, at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM, Friday, March 1, 2024, at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home with Pastor Raymundo Calzadias, officiating. A burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Manuel Moralez, also fondly known as Tolony, was born in Marfa, Texas to Francisco Flores and Oralia Lopez Moralez on February 24, 1946. He grew up in Sanderson, Texas and later moved to Fort Stockton, Texas where he met and married Dominga Moralez on November 18, 1969. He worked for the City of Fort Stockton and retired after forty years of service and dedication in 2005. After his retirement he and his wife moved to Odessa, Tx. Manuel enjoyed helping others, especially his family. He loved his children, but he was most proud of his grandchildren. They were his pride and joy.
Manuel is preceded in death by his father, Francisco Flores; his mother, Oralia Lopez; sister, Yolanda Lopez Acosta; and wife, Dominga Moralez.
Manuel is survived by his sons, Abdon Moralez and Isaac Moralez and wife Ileana Moralez; brothers, Joe Chavez, Joe Flores, Frankie Flores; sisters, Eloina Chavez, Francis Lopez Flores, Ida Nuncio, and Linda Flores Campos; grandchildren, Auden Moralez, Omar Moralez, Jovani Moralez, Alexander Moralez and David Moralez; and one great-grandchild, Evianna Moralez.
Pallbearers will be grandchildren, Auden, Omar and Jovani Moralez and nephews NEftali Silva, Sebastian Cruz, Byron Scott and Adan Armendariz.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations could be given to Iglesia De Cristo de 61 y Ector.
