Obituary
97, of Cranston, passed away on Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at Kent Hospital, Warwick. He was the beloved husband of the late Ann Marie (Regine) Morena. Born in Cranston, he was the son of the late Donato and Maria Costanza (DiChiara) Morena. Mr. Morena was a machinist/toolmaker for Bulova Watch for 37 years. After his retirement, Manuel owned and operated Do-Well Manufacturing for several years. He was an avid Patriots and Red Sox fan and enjoyed golfing until the age of 85. Manuel will always be remembered as a wonderful husband, father, provider and an amazing grandfather and great-grandfather. He was a US Navy veteran serving during WWII.
Manuel is survived by his loving children, Anthony Morena and his wife, Donna; Linda Mallozzi, Paul Morena and Lisa Morena. He was the cherished grandfather of Michael, Evan, Veronica, Sarah and Gianna; and great-grandfather of Lucas and Ava. Manuel was the brother of Lucille Paglia and the late Christy Morena, Carmen Morena, Mary Pocai, Etta Carello and Josephine Eike.
Visiting hours will be held on Monday, Dec. 19, from 9:30-10:30 a.m. followed by his Funeral Home Service at 10:30 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston. His military honors will take place at the end of the services. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
