Manuel Roman Obituary
Manuel “Meño” Roman, age 80, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on March 2, 2026.
Manuel was the loving husband of Maria Falcon-Roman, devoted father to Juanita “Tita” Roman-DeLeon (Roberto), Manuel U. Roman (deceased), Margarita “Margie” Roman, amazing grandfather to Vanessa Roman-Bazan (Jonathan), Inez DeLeon-Quinones (Lexx), Manuel R. DeLeon and Alexandra Diaz. Great-grandfather to Zion, Zoey and Zayn Bazan.
Father to extended children Laura Alicea (Michael), Cesar Galarza (deceased) and Janiris Galarza (Kaelene). Grandfather to Halian Biascochea (Cienna), Julian Biascochea, Fabian Rueda, Yessenia Rueda, Cesar J. “CJ” Galarza and Kaleb Galarza. Great-grandfather to Hezekiah and Hadassah Biascochea.
Manuel was truly the heart of his family, respected by all and always making others laugh with his humor, warmth and friendly spirit. He enjoyed being surrounded by the people he cared for most. Kind-hearted and selfless, willing to give to others with no questions asked and loved by everyone who crossed his path.
His death reunites him with his beloved first wife, Ramona Roman who held a special place in his heart.
Manuel will be deeply missed by his siblings (9 brothers, 7 sisters) his many nieces and nephews and all who knew and loved him.
Family and friends are welcome on Sunday, March 8, 2026, from 3 to 7 p.m., at Slone & Co. Life Celebration Center 3556 W. 130th St. Cleveland, OH 44111, where additional visitation will be held on Monday, March 9, 2026, from 10 a.m. until time of Service at 11 a.m. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
