Our deepest condolences on Manuel's passing. I have great memories of Manuel and Margaret from childhood in Edmonton. I remember Manuel's caring and compassion in taking care of a severe infection on my leg; a small issue for a cardio-thoracic specialist, a large issue for a four year old! He made me feel like I was indeed very important at the time. I like to think I treat my own patients with the same attention and compassion to this day.
