Manuel Ulibarri Obituary
Manuel Ulibarri, age 73, a resident of Las Nutrias, NM, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 14, 2021. He was a member of San Isidro Catholic Church, in Las Nutrias. Manuel proudly served in the U.S. Marines (draft) during the Vietnam War. He retired from the City of Albuquerque. Manuel remained busy farming and raising cattle after his retirement. He enjoyed gardening and spending time outdoors. Manuel is preceded in death by his parents, Melecio & Erinea Ulibarri; his siblings, Clorinda Hollingsworth, Isidro, Fermin and Robert Ulibarri; nephew, Mel Mendoza. He is survived by his loving siblings, Emma Griego, Mela Mendoza, Bernie (Leo) Cordova, and Mary (Leo) Chavez; and many loving nieces, nephews and friends. A Public Viewing will be held on Saturday, July 17, 2021, at San Isidro Catholic Church, in Las Nutrias, NM as 9:00 AM, with a Rosary to be recited by Angie Lovato at 9:30 AM with the Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at San Isidro Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be James, Eric and Christopher Lucero, Kevin and Robert Ulibarri, and Ernie Mendoza. Honorary Pallbearers are Kristen Robins, Nelson Mascarenas and Tom Ulibarri.
