Manuela “Nellie” Delgado, 73, passed away Tuesday, Octobre 14, 2025.
Nellie was born in Alamogordo, NM on November 18, 1951. She attended Austin High School and graduated in 1971. She was a very proud Panther. Nellie would later marry Oscar Delgado on January 25, 1973.
Nellie loved listening to Motown music, dancing, baking sweet treats, and loved bowling in her younger years. Nellie was known for her creativity with her arts and crafts.
Nellies is preceded in death by her parents; Raquel and Alfredo Olivarez Sr., brothers; Hector Olivarez and Alfredo Olivarez, nephews; Alexis Olivarez and Eric Olivarez. She leaves behind her husband; Oscar Delgado, 4 children; Alfredo Delgado, Yvette Delgado, Claudia Delgado and Oscar Delgado, 12 grandchildren and 1 great grandson.
Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a Vigil/Rosary at 6:00 PM, Friday, October 17, 2025 at Sunset Funeral Homes - East, 750 N. Carolina Dr. Funeral Mass will be at 11:00 AM, Saturday, October 18, 2025 at Santo Niño de Atocha Catholic Church, 210 S. Clark.
