Manuela Salas Obituary
Manuela Castro Salas, 84, of Watauga, passed away Tuesday, October 22, 2024 in Bedford. She was born July 27, 1940 in Mexico.
Manuela loved to crochet, cook, music, dancing, shopping, and especially going out to eat seafood. Most of all, she loved to spend time with her family and her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Rosa Vazquez, Micaela Urbina, Miguel Vasquez, Juan Vazquez, Maria Romero, Guillermo Vazquez; her siblings, Guillermo Castro, Julia Castro, Hipolita Castro, Candelario Castro; her grandchildren, Sandra Landry, Alicia Martinez, Daniel Urbina, Diana Saenz Vazquez, Ricardo Manuel Romero, Ismael Romero, Genesis Romero Vazquez, Yajaira Salazar, Ivan Vazquez, Luis Vazquez, Francisco de Leon Vazquez, Feliciano de Leon Vazquez, Juanita de Leon Vazquez, Gustavo de Leon Vazquez, and Ian Pablo Vazquez.
She was preceded in death by her father, Primitivo Castro; her mother, Teresa Salas; her sister, Refugia Castro; and also, by her granddaughter, Rosy de Leon Vazquez.
Services to celebrate her life will be held Saturday, October 26, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at the Lucas Funeral Home Chapel in Hurst. A visitation for family and friends will be held from Noon until service time Saturday, October 26, 2024 in the Lucas Funeral Home Chapel.
