Marc A. Angers

Marc A. Angers, 74, of Saco, passed away with his family by his side on Thursday, October 23, 2025 in Scarborough.

He was born in Biddeford on May 17, 1951, a son of Aristide and Agnes (Boucher) Angers.

Marc was educated in the Biddeford school system. In his early years, he went to St. Joseph's Elementary School and later St. Louis High School. He graduated from Biddeford High School, class of 1971.

Marc was employed by his family's grocery store, Anger's Community Store. Switching careers, he decided to enter into cosmetology.

In September of 1976, Marc met his wife Susan Boucher and they were married on October 28, 1978, at St. Andre's Church in Biddeford. The couple started their family and raised their son Nicholas.

Marc was employed as a hairdresser for several years. Not one to sit still and changing careers once again he moved into various industries, including Biddeford Textile, the City of Biddeford and for Shaw's Supermarket. He retired in 2016.

Marc had many interesting hobbies. He enjoyed reading science fiction and mystery novels. He liked target shooting and going on fishing trips with is son Nicholas and taking cruises with his wife Susan. Most recently, he volunteered to visit the elderly and cut their hair. He created a special bond and cherished these relationships deeply.

He is survived by his wife Susan Angers, son Nicholas Angers and wife Lauren, siblings Aime Angers, Roch Angers and wife Colombe, Luc Angers and wife Andrea and Helene Totos and husband Roman. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday, October 29, at 11AM at Most Holy Trinity Church in Saco. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Biddeford.

If friends desire, donations may be made in Marc's name to the American Lung Association.
