Marc Anthony Bradford was born on September 26, 1966, to Willie Lee Bradford and Joann Bradford in Aberdeen, Maryland. Marc relocated to San Diego, California with his maternal grandparents and three (3) aunts when he was 1 ½ years old.
Marc received his formal education in the San Diego Unified District. Marc graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1984. While attending Lincoln Marc was an active member in the R.O.T.C. Program with his sister April. Marc was Homecoming King and Commissioner of the Elections.
Shortly after graduating from Lincoln Marc began his career with Jack-n-the Box and soon became Assistant Manager. Marc left Jack-n-the Box and went to work for a law firm in La Jolla. After a short stay, Marc left the law firm and went to work for Western Trucking School in Santee, California. After, successfully completing all the requirements, Marc was awarded his Commercial Driver's License. After, three (3) years of employment, Marc and his mother moved to Texas and Marc began working for various trucking companies. In 2012 Marc began his employment with AAA Cooper Transportation and Trucking and until his illness and was unable to work.
Marc attended New Paradise Baptist Church in San Diego, California and was baptized by the late Pastor Anthony C. Frazier. Marc was a member of the men's choir and active in many other ministries.
Marc joined Friendship-West Baptist Church in 2011 and was a faithful member. Marc loved his church, his Pastor Rev. Dr. Frederick Douglass Haynes III and the entire church family. One Sunday Marc was asked to work, but before getting on the highway he drove his truck and parked in front of the church to pay his tithes. He always said, "God has been too good to me not to pay my tithes."
Marc's passions were watching or attending the Dallas Cowboys games with his great nephew Little Marquise. Marc also loved going to the Nascar races with his mom on weekends, sitting in the cold and drinking hot chocolate. He loved the loud noise and smell of the burning tires. Jimmy Johnson was his favorite driver. Once Marc flew to Las Vegas, Nevada where he was offered a chance to ride around the track with one of the drivers. This was the most exhilarating times of his life.
On February 20,2022, Marc ran his final earthly race and left this world for his eternal father's house. Marc is preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents. His dad Willie Lee Bradford, three (3) uncles, Bobby, Elmer and David Bradford and his 1st cousin Anthony Jerome Rivers II.
Marc is survived by his mother, Joann Bradford of Dallas, Texas, one sister April L. Bradford-Rose of Dallas, Texas. His three (3) aunts of San Diego, Marilyn Bradford, Lorraine Chastang (Adrian), and Toni Shoffner. Beverly Jackson (Melvin) of Ontario, California. A host of nieces and nephews from California, Texas and Nevada.
