Marc Alan Curie

Deep condolences to Matt. I met Marc and Matt recently and immediately we connected. I helped them out to enhance their unit making custom desks and new curtains, even though we initially started as simply job, it was very easy to develop a fast and nice friendship with both of them. ("Los tres amigos")
Marc always leading and directing the job, on top of every progress and coordinating everything. We ended up having a great time while working together. Rest in peace Marc.

I first met Marc in 2015, we were introduced by Teri who worked with Marc at the San Diego bank in the early days and had stayed good friends. I helped Marc find his first return to SD home in 2016, he quickly became not just a client but an amazing friend. Marc's character, humor and thoughtfulness was hard to miss.

Fast forward to a couple fond memories:

Visiting Marc and Matt at their home in Bankers Hill, drinks were sipped, chats were chatted and a jolly good time ensued.
Marc invited me to happy hour with him and Matt at Miguel's, Marc's friend Kwan was going to bring her daughter McKenna as well. They were trying to set McKenna and I up ;). It was fun and very thoughtful of them.

Maya Angelou said, "I've learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel."

This quote rings true to the best tone, my favorite memories of Marc was how he made others feel! :)

RIP Marc

I offer my deep condolences to you Matt and to Marc's extended family. Marc was a friend of mine during the time he lived at The Plaza in San Diego. Lots of talks and laughter. Rest in peace Marc.
