Marc Cutler Obituary

Marc Jay Cutler, 81, of Glen Mills, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on September 9, 2025. Born on April 8, 1944, in Camden, New Jersey, Marc grew up in Cherry Hill, where he began a lifelong journey.
Marc was the beloved husband of Sharon (Skulnick) Cutler; devoted father of Michele (Jesse) Stein and Caryn (Jason) Berstein; and proud grandfather of Sydney and Seth Stein, and Ross and Remi Berstein. He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Judy Bolotin and his nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Rebecca and Charles Cutler, and his sister, Deanne Dorn.
After attending Penn State University, Marc served honorably in the U.S. Army and was stationed in South Korea. He went on to build a successful career as a commercial real estate agent, but his greatest passion was always his family. He delighted in family gatherings, took joy in watching his grandchildren grow, and cherished the life he shared with Sharon.
Marc was a member of M'Kor Shalom synagogue, where he served as president and devoted countless hours to leadership and service. He also contributed his time and energy to the South Jersey Jewish Federation, serving on various committees. In retirement, he and Sharon embraced a new chapter at Fox Hill Farm in Glen Mills, where they were welcomed into a warm and supportive community.
Outside of his commitments, Marc found joy on the golf course with friends at Woodcrest Country Club, on long runs with his running partners, and in his enduring love for Philadelphia sports.
Marc lived courageously with Parkinson's Disease for 21 years, never allowing it to define him. His optimism, resilience, and strength inspired everyone who knew him. Even as his health challenges grew, he remained active, positive, and deeply engaged with those around him.
Marc will be remembered as a devoted husband, loving father, adoring grandfather, and loyal friend whose life reflected generosity, integrity, and courage. His memory will be a blessing to all who knew and loved him.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 11, 2025, at 12:30 p.m., graveside at Crescent Memorial Park, 7349 Westfield Avenue, Pennsauken, New Jersey.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly suggests donations in Marc's memory to support Parkinson's research through The Michael J. Fox Foundation (www.michaeljfox.org).
