Marc J. Daverveld, Appleton, age 58, died peacefully at home of kidney cancer on Thursday, October 16, 2025. He was born on February 4, 1967, to the late James J. Daverveld and Geraldine C. (Hietpas) Daverveld. Marc graduated from St. John Grade School in Menasha and Menasha Sr. High School. He trained first as an LPN and later returned to train as an RN as a two-time graduate at St. Agnes Hospital, Fond du Lac. Marc devoted most of his 35 year career to St. Elizabeth Hospital, Appleton, on their Adult Psych Ward. He attended Lawrence University's Arts Academy for over 10 years, studying classical piano music.

Marc had a special devotion to the Blessed Mother and the Rosary.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first partner of 17 years, Daniel C. Rozmarynoski of Menasha, who died after 37 years of complications from diabetes.

Marc is survived by his domestic partner of 15 years, Stanley E. Snowdy, Appleton; and his brother, Joseph W. Daverveld, Oshkosh. He is further survived by his brother's children, several cousins, and many friends.

Visitation will be held Friday, October 24, 2025, at ST. JOSEPH PARISH (404 W. Lawrence Street, Appleton) from 9:00 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. His Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m., officiated by Br. Ray Stadmeyer. A meal will follow. He will be laid to rest at St. Joseph Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the Association of Miraculous Medal (www.amm.org).
