Marc Dolbec Obituary

Marc A. Dolbec, 71, of Bow, died unexpectedly on February 11, 2025, at his residence, his wife by his side.

Born in Sherbrooke, PQ Canada on November 14, 1953, he was the son of the late Delphis and Orianna (Breton) Dolbec. The Dolbec family moved to New Hampshire when Marc was 6 years old and it is here where he was educated and built his family with France.

If you asked him, he'd tell you he helped to build the city of Boston. As a drywall tradesman, he was a proud member of the International Union of Painters & Allied Trades Local 577 for 30 years before retiring in 2010. He worked tirelessly for many companies, most notably Manganaro, Unity Construction and TriState Construction.

Marc was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling and loved playing golf. His favorite past time was by far the long Sunday afternoon barbecue's spent by the pool with his family by his side. He was a hard working man with a huge heart and was always willing and ready to help everyone. Marc loved to have a good time and could always be counted on to make those around him laugh. Above all else, he will be remembered for the joy he brought into this world as a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.

Family includes his wife of 50 years, France (Mailhot) Dolbec of Bow; one son, Adam D. Dolbec and wife Jennifer of Goffstown; one daughter, Jessica M. Clukey and husband Brock of Auburn; four grandchildren, Addeson T. Dolbec, Jordyn I. Dolbec, Adam J. Clukey and Peyton A. Dolbec; one brother, Raymond Dolbec and wife Janice of Hooksett; three sisters, Diane Coutu and husband Paul of Goffstown, Sylvie Doiron of Raymond and Lynda Menard and husband Robert of Raymond; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by both parents.

We had the privilege of knowing Marc and Fran for the last twenty+ years as caring and friendly neighbors. He was always ready to lend a hand or catch up on the neighborhood news. He always wore a smile and had a kind word. We will miss himc greatly and send our deepest condolences to the Dolbe family.
