Marc "Eric" Fraunfelter

Kansas City, KS – Eric passed away at his home in KCKS peacefully on October 11, 2022 after a battle with cancer. He was born in Zanesville, OH in 1973. The only son of Tom and Roxanne (Hunt) Fraunfelter.

Eric graduated from Spring Hill High School in 1991. He joined the US National Guard and eventually joined the US Army.

Eric met Kami Fraunfelter in October of 2017 and they married in May of 2019. While their marriage was short, it was filled with laughter, joy and deep, everlasting love.

Eric was preceded in death by aunts, uncles and grandparents. He leaves behind his parents, one sister, Renee Foster (Billy) – or as he liked to call them, Biscuits and Gravy, two children, Sara Zimmerman (Kevin) of Overland Park, KS and Tanner Fraunfelter of Asheville, NC. Two step children – Tiffani Tesch (Tanner) and Zane Lisenbee (Katie). One nephew, Jacob Foster (Erica) and one niece, Brooke Hodges. A great niece, a great nephew, aunts, and many cousins. He also leaves behind five inherited grandchildren.

Eric also leaves behind an enormous number of friends because it's true "to know him was to love him". His Crew "33" was a huge part of his dash. Bryan Tabor (Jen), Jeff Carlisle (Karen), Nicole Makin (Geoff), Blake Diebler (Christine), Roger Alonzo (Jen-Jen) and Mark Eller.

Service
A service of remembrance will be held in his honor on Thursday, October 20, 2022 at The Thompson Barn at 11184 Lackman Rd in Lenexa, KS from 4-6 PM. This will be a casual event as he would prefer, please come comfortable. We hope to share stories and memories of Eric. This will not a formal service so you are welcome to come and go as you like. (Eric hated "stuffy" events)

Flowers can be delivered to the Barn at 3 PM the day of service and donations can be made to his wife to help with expenses if you wish.
