Marc LaGarde Obituary
Marc Anthony Gregory LaGarde, age 67, of Brockton, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on December 24, 2025 after a short battle with cancer. Marc was born and raised in Brockton, Massachusetts.
Marc was well known for his strong work ethic and sense of loyalty. He spent many years working as a Truck Driver at Cars Transport in Holbrook, Massachusetts, and retiring in 2025. Marc made many lasting friendships with his larger than life personality, and those close to him had a friend for life. When he wasn't working, he could be found working on his cars or motorcycles, spending time with his grandson, and hitting the open road.
Marc is survived by his children he shared with his former wife Annette Moore: Michele LaGarde, Megan LaGarde and her partner Thomas Lewis; step son Jason Guerra; grandson, Trevor Lewis and step grand children Emily, Andre, and Anthony Guerra, and Noah Lewis; siblings Robert Jr. and Barbara LaGarde, David LaGarde, Steven and Laura LaGarde, Peter and Jeanette LaGarde, James and Zelia LaGarde, and John Travers; step sibling Arthur Travers; as well as many nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly. He was predeceased by his parents Robert LaGarde Sr. and Joyce (Schaub) Travers, step father Leonard Travers Sr., brother Paul LaGarde, and step brothers Leonard Jr. and Kenneth Travers.
Per Marc's wishes, no funeral services will be held at this time. The family will notify loved ones of a Celebration of Life to be held at a later date.
