Marc A. Pluskowski

Our world lost a dedicated brother, father, Pa Pa(p), uncle, cousin, neighbor and friend, when Marc Pluskowski, age 68, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, December 28th, in his Geneva, Il home. His sudden passing has left a deep ache in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
Born on January 4th, 1957 in Chicago to the late Ronald and Frances (née Rogalski) Pluskowski, Marc, lived a life marked by hard-work, kindness, generosity, acts of service, and an unwavering dedication to his family and friends. He was someone others could and would always rely on-generous with his time and wisdom, Marc could fix anything with the right tool (or two), surplus of time, and a dash of trial and error.
Marc found his life's purpose in helping others. A machine operator and mechanic by trade that ended with retirement in 2024 planning to live a simple life fishing, spending time with his grandchildren, and perhaps his favorite past-time of taking his fur-grandchildren on long walks. Whether through shared conversations, a home cooked meal (made by others), or simple moments together, he enjoyed a life surrounded by people.
Marc, is survived by his children Eric Pluskowski (Becky), Adam Pluskowski (Zack), Emily Pluskowski, his loving siblings Donna (Mark) Klein, Jim Pluskowski, Linda (Dar) Kemp, along with grandchildren Maddie, Sadie, Alice and Parker, who will forever hold him in their hearts. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Marianne Pluskowski (m.1980).
Though his life ended sooner than expected, the love he gave and the memories he created will remain forever. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness, loyalty, and love that will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him. His grandson Parker said it best, "It's okay, pop pop lives in your heart and in your at a later date. I
n lieu of flowers, the family asks that you participate in a random act of kindness to be made in honor of Marc's life and spirit.
Marc will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered-always.
