Marc Underwood

UNDERWOOD - Marc Underwood, 53, passed away on Saturday, September 12, 2009. He was born in Wichita Falls, TX on October 13, 1956 to Ervy J. (deceased) and Annie P. Underwood. He is survived by his mother and her husband, Billy Ray Wright; his sisters, Trish Upton and husband, Gary, of Albuquerque and Cindy Pederson of Albany, OR; and his brother, Kirk Underwood and wife, Malissa, of Albuquerque. Marc was especially fond of his nieces and nephews, Nick and Jeremy Upton, Chanelle, Scottland and Ashton Underwood; and Emily Pederson. Marc graduated from Goddard High School in 1974. He attended New Mexico State University. He was a contractor and builder by trade. Marc was in the forefront of building homes designed with passive solar energy features. He was also an artist in oils and painted numerous paintings for his family. His hobbies included cooking, boating painting and spending time with friends and family. Marc was known for his great sense of humor, his practical jokes, the love of his dogs and his ability to make many friends wherever he was.
