Marc Stephen Wilcutt, age 34, passed away on April 27, 2025, after a lifelong battle with Cystic Fibrosis. Marc was born on July 14, 1990, in Bowling Green, KY. He was the first and only child to Judy (Faughn) Wilcutt and Glenn Allen Wilcutt.
Growing up, Marc was a very outgoing child. He loved shopping, especially on Black Friday's, with his best friend Grant Burkeen. Perhaps his favorite activity was spending time with his family to include aunts, uncles and cousins. And that was especially true with his aunts, Martha and Sherry, and Uncle Gary.
Marc graduated from Bowling Green High School in 2007. He was a huge Cardinal baseball fan and in 2012 threw out the first pitch at a Cardinal game. He was also awarded a Louisville Slugger bat inscribed with his own name. Acceptance of the bat was conditioned on his promise to endorse their bats if he were to play professional baseball!
As Marc grew older his favorite pastime became playing video games. He developed a large collection of the latest and greatest video equipment. He was also a big movie buff with a collection of several hundred films.
Glenn and Judy divorced in 2006. Marc spent time living with each parent and developed very close and special relationships with each. After his father's death in 2019, Marc and his mom moved to Poplar Bluff, MO. Marc proudly bought his own home and spent his last years enjoying his independence and being close to mom.
Marc is survived by his mother Judy and his many aunts and uncles to include: Sherry Wilcutt, Martha Eldridge, Ruth Ann Carlyle, Doris Vandiver, Jesse Faughn and Gary Wilcutt. Viewing will be at Cotrell Willow Ridge Funeral & Cremation Services from 1 to 2 p.m. on Thursday, May 1, followed by a graveside service at Poplar Bluff City Cemetery.
