Joyce Ann Coleman, 79, of Doniphan, MO, passed away Thursday, October 16, 2025, at her daughter's home.
Joyce was born on May 26, 1946, to John and Frances Nadine (Hobbs) Higgins in Kansas City, Missouri. She married Samuel Coleman on March 22, 1965, in Lee's Summit, Missouri.
Joyce enjoyed creating, from floral arrangements to arts and craft projects. She and her daughter even had their own Facebook page named "Mama and Me Crafts". Joyce was a florist for many years. She also had beautiful rose gardens and always kept an immaculate yard and home. She liked bird watching and especially loved Wrens. Joyce was kindhearted and passionate; never afraid to speak her mind. She loved her family fiercely and set the industry standard for "domestic engineer".
Joyce is survived by her daughter, Andrea Coleman; two sons, Adam Coleman and Andrew Coleman and wife Christina; two sisters, Sue Steward and Elaine Nash; four grandchildren, Tristan, Samuel, Joshua, and Kathyrn Coleman; one great granddaughter, Harlee; special canine companion, Thumbelina.
Joyce was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Samuel Coleman; and sister, Johnna Higgins.
A private graveside will take place at a later date.
