Mrs. Anita Buaton Brockman, age 71, passed away peacefully on October 6, 2025, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.
Born on June 28, 1954, in Senath, MO, Anita lived a life defined by generosity and compassion. She was known for her selfless spirit and her ability to uplift those around her with kindness and warmth.
Anita found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She especially enjoyed thrift shopping, always searching for unique treasures, and took delight in getting her nails done—an expression of her vibrant personality.
She shared a devoted marriage with her husband, Terry Brockman. Anita is lovingly remembered by her children, TRa (Joel) Richardson, Duncan (Lia) McCullough, and Siad Robinson; grandchildren, Makinzee, Maddison, Avirlyn Richardson, and Colten McCullough; sister, Tracy Doyle; brother, Bruce Williams; and brother and sister-in-law, David and Jenny Williams.
She was preceded in death by her son, Shawn; mother, Mary; brother, Dale.
Anita’s legacy endures through the love she gave to her family and the compassion she extended to others. Her memory will continue to inspire those who knew her to live with kindness and generosity.
May her memory bring comfort to all who were touched by her presence.
Visitation will be Monday, October 13, 2025, from 9am-10am at Cotrell Willow Ridge Funeral & Cremation Services in Poplar Bluff, MO. Burial will take place at Byrd Cemetery in Myrtle, MO at 11:30am.
