Marcelino G. Rodriguez (83) of San Antonio, Texas was born on April 26, 1940 and went to be with the Lord on January 6, 2024 surrounded by family.
Marcelino was born to Julia and Espiridion Rodriguez in Smiley, Texas. Marcelino began working at San Antonio State Chest Hospital in 1961 in food service. Later transferred to the Boiler Room. He worked for the State for over 32 years until he retired in 1993. He liked going to casinos and fishing trips with family but especially liked sitting in his chair watching the Cowboys and Spurs. He enjoyed talking to his grandkids about the weather and what was going on in their lives. He will be remembered by his humor and kind heart.
Marcelino is preceded in death by his son David Rodriguez.
Marcelino is survived by his wife Lucy and daughter Norma. He is also survived by his sisters Manuela and Juanita and daughter in law Grace Rodriguez, and son-in-law David Argueta. His grandchildren Nicole, Julia, Joshua Rodriguez and Diego Argueta
