Marcella Block Obituary
Marcella E Block, age 97, passed away on July 15, 2025, at Wausau Manor Nursing Home. Marcella was born on January 18, 1928, to Otto and Emilie (Krenz) Block, in Wausau, WI. Marcie loved her family and friends, and especially enjoyed golfing, curling, traveling, and playing cards.
Marcella was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings: Edward Block, Gregory Block, Hertha Miedaner, Myrtle Block.
A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday July 22, 2025 at 2:30 PM at Helke Funeral Home (302 Spruce Street, Wausau WI 54401). Pastor Peter Williamson of Trinity Lutheran Church will officiate. Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM until the service begins.
Much thanks is given to the staff at Wausau Manor Nursing Home and North Shore Hospice for the kind and professional care provided for Marcella.
In lieu of flowers, please donate to the charity of your choosing in honor of Marcella.
