Marcella Klimas Obituary
Publish in a newspaper
on June 26, 2025. Born on April 5, 1948, she graduated from North Plainfield High
School and Douglas College (Now Rutgers University). She later attended the
Episcopal Divinity School in Cambridge, Massachusetts where she earned a
doctorate in divinity. She was an Episcopal priest in Pennsylvania and Georgia
before retiring due to a disabling medical condition.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Reverend Richard Hawkins. She is
survived by her brothers, John Klimas, (Kathleen) of Charlotte, N.C, Andrew Klimas
(Ann), Bel Air, Maryland and Edward Klimas (Susan), Waretown, N. J. Additionally
there are four nieces and one nephew.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis
Society at 733 Third Ave. New York, N.Y. 10017.
