Marcella Noble

Marcella A. Noble, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend. Marcella, age 81, of Bonner Springs, Kansas, peacefully passed away at her home on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
Born September 20, 1943, in Kansas City, Kansas, Marcella dedicated over 25 years of her life as a talented beautician at Presbyterian Manor, retiring in 1999. Retirement brought her joy, especially in caring for her cherished grandchildren. Marcella's passions were many and varied; she was an avid reader of romance novels, a skilled seamstress whose creations brought delight to her daughters, and a devoted caregiver to her beloved dogs. Her green thumb nurtured a thriving garden, a testament to her love for nature. Marcella was also a dedicated fan of the soap opera General Hospital-a daily ritual that she began at age 18 continuing until her final days.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 61 years, Victor Noble of the home; their two daughters, Victoria Goth (Bryan) of Lee's Summit, Missouri, and Kathleen Stephan (Craig) of Bonner Springs, Kansas, grandchildren Clayton Goth, Courtney Frye (Hutson), Andrew Stephan, and Garrett Stephan; her son Craig Steinlage (Theresa), grandchildren Jordan Argabright (Ben), Taylor Steinlage, Marcus Steinlage (Rilee), and Thomas Steinlage, great-grandchildren Blakely, Jayley, and Max; as well as many nieces and nephews. Her family along with countless others whose lives she touched, will deeply miss her loving presence.
Marcella was preceded in death by her parents, Byron and Julia Gilmore, her eight brothers, and her dear sister, Mary Shriver.
Visitation is from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Wednesday, July 2nd, at the Alden-Harrington Funeral Home in Bonner Springs, Kansas. A memorial service and rosary will immediately follow at 7:00 PM in the funeral home chapel. Burial will take place at a future date at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial contributions be made to the Bonner Springs Animal Rescue, in care of the Alden-Harrington Funeral Home.
