Marcella Prest Obituary
Marcella attended SIU-Carbondale after finishing high school. She received her teaching certificate and went on to teach at Blackjack School House in Oakdale, IL for a few years. She decided to help her husband, Norman, with life on the farm. Marcella had a big personality and left an impression on everyone she met.
Marcella is survived by four children – Clinton (wife, Jennifer) Prest of Bethany, MO, Kevin (wife, Michelle) Prest of San Jose, CA, Marla Cooper of Charleston, IL, and Deanna Niccum of O'Fallon, IL; ten grandchildren – Jed Prest, Barbara Wolstenholme, James Prest, Afton Thomas, Rebecca Prest, Erin Earles, Megan Hightower, Travis Cooper, Matthew Dill and Shawn Dill; twenty-two great grandchildren; one sister – Shirley Reinhardt of Nashville, IL; one brother – Lawrence "Larry" (wife, Mary) McClay of Oakdale, IL.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband – Norman Lowell Prest; two sisters – Frances Ibendahl and Juanita Campbell; two brothers – Russell McClay and Kenneth McClay.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.

Private Funeral Services will take place with a committal service at Tilden Cemetery to follow.
Heil-Schuessler & Sinn Funeral Home in Tilden, Illinois is in charge of arrangements.
