Marcella Velardes Obituary
Marcella Velardes, 91, of Levelland passed from this life on January 28, 2026. A graveside service will be held on Monday, February 16, 2026, at 10:00 Am, at the City of Levelland Cemetery.
Marcella Velardes was born February 1, 1934, in Menard TX, to her parents, Paul Hernandez and Evarista Aquire.
Marcella married the love of her life, Alvino Velardes, in 1951 in Levelland, Texas where they would have five children.
She was also a member of the JW- Jehovah Witnesses since 1966. Marcella was very loved and enjoyed spending her time reading her Bible and studying with the elders.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 73 years, Alvino Velardes.
Those left to honor and cherish her memories include her daughters, Olga Palmer, Omega Cantu, Irene Ramirez, and Sylvia Velardes; and her son, Edward Velardes.
She also had six brothers and four sisters and was loved by her 14 grandchildren and 26 great- grandchildren.
Rest in peace mom, your love will stay with me forever.
