Marcella Westrich Obituary
Marcella Joyce Westrich, daughter of the late Raymond Moore and Zella (Foster) Moore was born on February 20, 1932 in Perkins, Missouri and departed her life on Friday, December 5, 2025 at Country Place Assisted Living in Scott City, Missouri at the age of 93 years.
She was former employee of Sam’s Club in Cape Girardeau and Superior Electric in Scott City. Ms. Westrich was a member of the St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Chaffee and a former resident of Chaffee.
On April 12, 1950 she was united in marriage to Charles Westrich in Chaffee. Mr. Westrich preceded her in death on February 15, 2021.
Survivors include two daughters, Charlotte Smith of Chaffee and Janet (Elmer) Schaefer of Oran; four grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren; also, by other relatives and friends.
Along with her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Greg Schaefer; one son-in-law, Jimmy Smith; three brothers, Harold, John, and Bobby Moore; eight sisters, Betty Statler, June Moore, Maude Hilyard, Joann Kean, Brenda Strop, Kathleen Lee, Connie Warren, and Peggy Moore.
Services will be held privately for the family only. Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee assisting with arrangements.
