Marchia was born July 12, 1953 in Salt Lake, UT and passed away January 8, 2023 in Ogden, UT with her husband, Ali Eugene Ross, by her side.
Marchia and Gene were married August 17, 1973. Together they had three children, Tony, Brett, and Brian.
Marchia spent her career working for the IRS from which she couldn’t have been happier and more excited to retire. She truly loved the life she built with her family. She loved her summers at the Eagle’s trailer park. Dinner’s cooked over the fire. In her “younger” years, her and Gene loved bowling, playing cards with friends, shootin' pool while blasting all the best oldies records they grew up with, camping, and so much more. She was a loving mother and wife who took the absolute best care of her family.
Though they imagine it to be impossible to live without her, through her never-ending love and guidance, she made it possible that they could. The love and guidance of someone who somehow managed to do everything exactly right. One couldn’t ask for a better example of someone who is kind, gentle, sincere, and loving.
Marchia is survived by her husband, Gene; sons, Tony, Brett, and Brian; her grandchildren: Kat, Autumn, and Carter; and the most adorable pup who was always by her side, Misty. She was preceded in death by her mother, father, and brother.
Per Marchia’s request, there will be no funeral/memorial services. Her only wish is that you hold your loved ones close and always make sure they know how much you love them as this is how she lived.
