Marcia Uyvonne (Eiland) Anderson, age 69, of Hixton, WI, passed away on September 24, 2025. She was born on June 30, 1956 in Frankston, Texas, to Carolyn Howell and Charles Eiland.

Marcia grew up in Texas till she decided to move on her own and ultimately ended up in Wyoming, where she met her soon-to-be husband at their church. She and Matt Anderson were united in marriage on January 1, 1999, in Gillette, Wyoming, having a New Years Day wedding to celebrate a "New Start" for the two. While in Wyoming Marcia received her GED and worked as a secretary, and she also helped at a friends furniture store being known as the 'fix it' women in the house. In 2003 the couple moved to the Cities to be closer to family. Marcia was very involved with her church, she loved babysitting children- and taking on them many adventures whether it be the zoo, educational centers, or just a day away. In 2013 after Matt retired they moved to Merrillan. Marcia once again got involved with their new church, Bridge Church. She will be remembered there for her giving heart- whether it be prayers or donations. She also took care of her mother-in-law, till her passing. In her free time Marcia enjoyed knitting and crocheting.

She is survived by her husband, Matt; sister, Jessica; and brothers, Timothy and Rex.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Carolyn; maternal grandparents, Shorty and MaryAnn Howell; sister, Cynthia; and brothers, Charles and infant William.

Thank you to the Meadowbrook Nursing Home and St. Croix Hospice for taking care of Marcia in her last few weeks with us.

Funeral services for Marcia will take place on Friday, October 3, 2025, at Bridge Church at 11:00 a.m. Pastor John Cowles will officiate. Friends and family are invited to the visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.

Her master said her, 'Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a little; I will set you over much. Enter into the joy of your master.'
